Steps to put Tesla in Car Wash Mode:
Just like the other things, you can use the touchscreen to enable car wash mode in all tesla cars. All tesla cars have almost the same method to put tesla in car wash mode. Follow the below-mentioned steps to enable car wash mode. (Note: you can’t enable car wash mode during driving and during car charging)
- In the first step, you have to ON your car’s touchscreen and have to click on the “Controls” Button.
- In the second step, you have to click on the “Services” button which you will see after clicking the Controls button.
- In the third step, you have to click on the “Car Wash Mode” button which you will see after clicking the Services button. Yep, Tesla car wash mode is enabled. (Note: if you are using an automatic car wash, click on the free roll button (this button will be shown after clicking to Car Wash Mode button)) (Car Wash Mode will automatically disable if car speed exceeds 9 mph OR you can click on the Exit button to disable it)

What does tesla car wash mode do?
During the car wash, the most important is that all the doors, windows, and trunk is closed and all sensors are disabled. So nothing should open during the car wash. So, when tesla car wash mode is enabled it closes all windows, locks the charge port, and disables windshield wipers, Sentry Mode, walk-away door locking, and parking sensor chimes.
